The boiling frog experiment
Product Description
TLDR
This asset rotates the view of your friends extremely slowly. You can test which of your friends notices the fastest.
Boiling Frogs
Do you think this is obvious?
Of course, you do. But maybe you know the metaphor of the boiling Frog. The Idea is that a frog does not jump out of a boiling pot of water if you slowly heat it up while it's already in there.
Luckily, frogs notice if they're boiled and jump out, but will your friends?
What if ... we ... let's say, slowly turn their field of view. Like 0.2 Degrees per second slow...
(This is sped up 5x Times)
What this Asset does
This asset spawns a giant ball around you and your friends, you can't see it because it mirrors what's behind it. Then on command it begins to slowly rotate the sphere. The texture of the world rotating with it. This makes it seem like the world is rotating around you.
How it works:
You put down the Almighty Red Axis™ and position it however you want.
After that, you slowly boil your friends👉👈😊
The World will rotate around the placed axis.
When they notice, you pause the rotation and reveal their result.

Drawbacks
You probably have seen the distortions of the screenshots at the edges, this is because the shader can't render more pixels, it can just turn the existing ones. This is very noticeable on desktop, but in VR you can't see the edges of your screen. Of course, at some point even in VR it becomes visible, but your friends should notice sooner. The effect works best if you place the axis collinear to the direction they're looking.
