These can be controlled via the VRChat Expression Menu, where you can adjust various operations and settings. Use them as needed for street performances, photography, or setting the mood for interviews.

★ Installation Steps
【Project Preparation】
- Install VRChat Creator Companion (VCC). Click "Create New Project" and select "Avatar." (Skip if you already have a project).
- In VCC, click "Manage Project." Search for and install "VRChat SDK" and "lilToon."
- Launch the project.
【Importing Data】
- Import your avatar data into the Unity project.
- Drag and drop the ".unitypackage" file downloaded from the shop.
- Leave all items checked in the import window and click "Import."
- Open the "AvatarSetup" folder, navigate to any avatar subfolder, and choose your preferred Prefab.
【Attaching via Modular Avatar (MA)】
- Place your avatar prefab into the Hierarchy.
- Drag and drop the MA-compatible prefab directly onto your avatar's root GameObject.
【Headset Setup & Adjustment (Single-Ear Type)】
- After importing the "PMiP_Mic2" prefab, expand its hierarchy.
- Use the GameObject named "Transform" to adjust the position, size, and rotation.
- (Optional) Fine-tuning Shape: Select "Mic2.Mesh" and adjust the parameters inside the "BlendShapes" section of the Skinned Mesh Renderer component to tweak the headset's shape.
- (Optional) Rotating the Mic: Locate the GameObject named "1" (under the "PMiP_Mic2" hierarchy). You can rotate this object specifically to change the angle of the microphone arm.
【Microphone & Mic Stand Setup】 If you are using a non-supported avatar, you will need to manually align the microphone with your avatar's hands.
- Note: If your avatar is not listed in "AvatarSetup," please use the "Nemo" or "Rinasciita" prefab as a template.
- Expand the "PMiP_MicPack" hierarchy and open all layers under "Mic_Position."
- Identify the Targets: "ConstPos_Hand.R" (Right Hand) and "ConstPos_Hand.L" (Left Hand) are the objects used to align the mic to your hands. (Remember these for later).
- Switching for Adjustment: To see the mic while you align it, select the "MA_Item" GameObject and find the "VRC Parent Constraint" component in the Inspector.
- In the "Sources" list, change the Weight values. To move the mic to the right hand, set the weight for "ConstPos_Hand.R" to 1 and all other Elements to 0.
- Alignment: Select the "ConstPos_Hand.R" object and modify its Transform values until the mic sits naturally in the hand.
- Repeat for the Left Hand: Go back to "MA_Item," switch the weights (set Left to 1, others to 0), and adjust the "ConstPos_Hand.L" object.
- Important: Ensure the weights are set to exactly [1,0,0] or [0,1,0] etc. Do not set multiple weights to 1 at the same time.
- Mic Stand: The "ConstPos_Stand" object handles the position relative to the stand. Normally, this doesn't need adjustment, but you can tweak it if the mic appears offset from the stand after resizing.
【How to Hide by Default upon Upload】 The items are designed to turn off automatically, but if you want to ensure they are hidden:
- Expand the hierarchy and Disable both the "MA_Item" and "MA_MicStand" GameObjects. (Uncheck the active checkbox in the top-left of the Inspector; do not use the eye icon in the Hierarchy).
- It will still function perfectly when triggered via the Expression Menu in-game.
【Uploading】
- Press the Play button in Unity. Use the Gizmo or Gesture Manager to verify the attachment and movement.
- If everything looks good, upload via the VRChat SDK toolbar. (If warnings appear, click the "Fix" button).
- Done! Enjoy!
★ Troubleshooting
- Check if Unity version matches 2022.3.22f1.
- If the material is pink, install lilToon.
- Ensure VRChat SDK and Modular Avatar are up to date.
- Do not rename or change the hierarchy within the Prefab, as this may break the gimmick.
- Check that your avatar's total parameter count does not exceed the limit.
