The Leopard Pet World Asset v1.3 is here with a major behavior and networking upgrade!

This fully animated leopard can naturally explore your VRChat world, approach nearby players, follow them around, swim through water, rest, sleep, and optionally manage its own hunger, thirst, and energy.

What it can do

• Freely roam around your world using NavMesh
• Select and approach nearby players
• Follow moving players
• Automatically switch between sneaking, walking, trotting, running, and sprinting
• Detect water and use its swimming animation
• Sit, lie down, and sleep during idle periods
• Use an optional needs system for hunger, thirst, and energy
• Find assigned food bowls, water bowls, and beds
• Play custom eating and drinking animations
• Synchronize its movement, destination, needs, and animations across players
• Smoothly handle ownership transfers and late joiners
• Customize movement speeds, detection distances, roaming range, behavior timing, and need decay rates

The leopard intelligently changes its movement speed depending on what it is doing and how far away its target is. It may quietly sneak or walk while exploring, then trot, run, or sprint to catch up with a player.

The needs system is completely optional, so the leopard can either act as a simple roaming companion or function like a more advanced virtual pet that eats, drinks, sleeps, and looks after itself.

This update is designed for VRChat world creators looking to add a lively, realistic animal companion to forests, jungles, homes, zoos, fantasy environments, social worlds, and more.
