Product Description
A thick lower lip for a go-to masc canine base made by Julia Winterpaw: https://jinxxy.com/winterpaw/vrcanine
Comes with a single lower lip that matches all visemes of the original Winterpaw Masc Canine, along with blendshapes to change the size of the lip and add a middle crease of your preferred depth, both of which are already controllable in-instance via a prebuilt radial menu tab.
Also comes packaged with blank texture, FBX and .Blend files for your own use and customization.
To install, in Unity, simply drag and drop the prefab into the hierarchy and onto the head bone of your avatar. As long as the prefab is given the same coordinates as your avatar, the lip should be perfectly positioned to match the mouth movements of your avatar.
Notes:
- The lip itself does not continue all the way up the jaw, sinking into the bottom jaw as shown in the final image above. For near seamless use, it is recommend that users blend the lip into their avatar's texture by giving their base's lower lip a band of color that matches the color of the lip asset, as seen in the demo images. I also highly recommend use of matcaps or other shader settings to get that shine that I know some of you will definitely want.
- so long as the facial blendshapes and visemes remain the same as they are on the base avatar, this asset can work just fine on edits, headswaps and kitbashes!
- This asset is not face tracking compatible. If this asset gets enough use, I may come back and give it an FT update, but for now, it is unfortunately not FT compatible.
- This asset is not compatible with the "Wickerbeast" facial blendshapes, as it was too drastic a change of facial structure to make it work, unfortunately.
- Demo images were taken in VRC with Poiyomi shaders and final image was taken as a screenshot of the blender project.
Thank you very much to RedSage for taking the preview images and Bumble-B for modeling the asset. <3
