Mito is known as the “Lantern Warden,” a quiet spirit who wanders the boundary between the living world and the fields of drifting lights. No one knows exactly what she is—some say she was once human, others whisper she was born from the first wish ever lost to the night.

She appears when the sky fills with soft glowing orbs, each one carrying a memory, a regret, or a promise that was never fulfilled. Mito’s long, shadowed ears are said to sense these fragments, guiding her to those who need them most—or those who have forgotten something important.

Despite her delicate, almost fragile presence, there’s an unsettling calm about her. Her eyes reflect stars that don’t belong to this sky, and when she speaks, it feels like she already knows how your story ends.

Mito doesn’t take memories—she returns them.

But there’s a cost.

Each time she helps someone reclaim what they lost, a small piece of her own past fades away. She continues her wandering, not out of duty, but because she’s searching… for the one memory she can’t seem to find—the reason she started this journey in the first place.
